Depart the USA on your overnight flight to Madrid or Barcelona.
- DAY 2 MADRID or BARCELONA (Friday)
Arrival at
Madrid or Barcelona airport where you will be met and
transferred to the hotel for
accommodations
.You have the day free to relax or explore city.
- DAY 3 MADRID or BARCELONA (Saturday)
Breakfast and
accommodations. Morning city
sightseeing
tour through the most important avenues and monuments. The afternoon is at your leisure to continue discovering the city on your own, or optional tours.
- DAY 4 MADRID or BARCELONA - ZARAGOZA - SAN SEBASTIAN (Sunday)
After breakfast
departure on your escorted tour into the
lands of the old Kingdom of Aragon. Arrival at Zaragoza for
a short stop to visit the Basilica of Our Lady of El Pilar.
Next to San Sebastián one of the most beautiful and elegant
seaside cities in Europe. Dinner and
accommodations.
- DAY 5 SAN SEBASTIAN - BILBAO - SANTANDER-SANTILLANA - COLOMBRES (Monday)
Following
breakfast departure from San Sebastián to
Bilbao. Short panoramic tour to admire the Guggenheim Museum
building. Continuation to Santander. Free time. In the
afternoon departure to the picturesque village of Santillana
del Mar, National Monument. Short stop and continue to
Colombres. Dinner and
accommodations

- DAY 6 COLOMBRES - COVADONGA - OVIEDO (Tuesday)
After breakfast we
depart through a country of dramatic scenery to the mountain
shrine of Covadonga. After the visit of the shrine on your
own we continue to the Asturian capital city of Oviedo for
dinner and
accommodations

- DAY 7 OVIEDO - GIJON - LUGO (Wednesday)
Breakfast. Departure
to Gijon the second capital of the region of Asturias. Short
panoramic tour and continuation to Luarca, Ribadeo and Lugo
in the Region of Galicia. Arrival dinner

- DAY 8 LUGO - LA CORUÑA (Thursday)
Breakfast. Departure
to La Coruña. Short panoramic tour. In the afternoon
optional excursion to the Rias Altas through typical
villages as Pontedeume, Betanzos, etc.

- DAY 9 LA CORUÑA - SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA (Friday)
Following breakfast we
depart to Santiago de Compostela, famed pilgrimage centre of
the middle ages. We’ll visit in our morning city
tour the Obradoiro Square, a main landmark of this
city, the XIIth century Cathedral of Santiago, where the
crypt of St. James is kept and other monuments. Afternoon at
leisure. Dinner and

- DAY 10 SANTIAGO - RIAS BAJAS - VIGO (Saturday)
Breakfast and
departure for the area of the Spanish Fjords (Rías Bajas)
through splendid landscapes along typical towns. We’ll have
a short visit the Toja Island, Ría de Arosa and Pontevedra.
We’ll continue to Vigo for dinner
and accommodations

- DAY 11 VIGO - SALAMANCA - MADRID (Sunday)
After breakfast
departure via Zamora and Salamanca. Brief stop to know its
famous Plaza Mayor. Continuation to Madrid. Arrival late
afternoon for accommodations

- DAY 12 MADRID - USA (Monday)
Breakfast. Transfer
to Madrid airport for your return flight to USA. You may extend your stay in Spain adding extra nights.

to Ciudad Rodrigo and the Portuguese border to Guarda and
Coimbra, site of one of the oldest universities in Europe,
and birthplace of Fado, the music of Portugal.

Breakfast. Depart to
Fatima, important pilgrimage center. Time free to visit the
Shrine before continuing to Lisbon, the capital of Portugal
